Our new £8.5m building incorporates many new technologies including solar and wind turbine power generation, intelligent building management, industrial standard printing facilities, superfast wireless data networking, large digital displays across the Academy site and much more.
Among these new technologies, we are very excited to introduce Smart Cards for learners.
NEW BUILDING,
NEW TECHNOLOGIES
Every learner from Year 5 upwards is issued with one of the new Smart Cards.
With Smart Cards, learners can:

Pay for snacks and lunches in the restuarant without cash using a system called sQuid. Parents simply top up their child's account from the convenience of home using the sQuid website.

Pay for trips and activities using the sQuid account.

Borrow and return books from the Academy Library.

Gain access through certain doors throughout the Academy to help maintain the safety and security of learners.

Save time logging into printers by simply swiping their Smart Card.
