All the children in Years 1-6 have been given a reading buddy. This will be an older or younger child who they meet with to share and enjoy books. The older child has the responsibility to choose books that the younger child will enjoy reading or having read to them. The buddies meet once a week in the library or their classrooms to enjoy books together and learn reading skills.

If any adults are interested in becoming a reading buddy for some of our learners, please contact the Academy on 01803 839717. Please note that a CRB check will be required.
