Mr Meek to leave Dartmouth Academy

I would like to let you know that Mr Meek will be leaving Dartmouth Academy at the end of October, 2014. Mr Meek has been here for nearly eight years, firstly as Head-teacher of Dartmouth Primary School and more recently as Vice Principal of Dartmouth Academy. Arrangements are well advanced to ensure that there is a smooth transition to new arrangements from November onwards, to ensure that the Academy continues to move forward and improve.

Mr Meek is moving on to a new challenge as Headteacher of Cockington Primary School – a large school in Torquay. Many of you will have known him for a considerable time, so I am sure that you will want to join me in thanking him for what he has done here, and in wishing him well for the future.
