Year 9 students have working on creating 'magical creatures' for this year's Candlelit Dartmouth lantern procession. Working in teams, students have been using their observational drawings of insects to create designs of strange, hybrid insects with names such as The Dragonbee!

Students are looking forward to showing their work to a wider audience at Candlelit Dartmouth.

Nicola Perrott is also working with Year 4,5 and 6 students from other local primary schools on lantern making for Candlelit Dartmouth and there will be a workshop at the Academy this Sunday, 23rd November.

Candlelit Dartmouth runs from 28th-29th November, more information can be found at www.candlelitdartmouth.co.uk.
