Dream on Amber is a book which focuses on a heart-warming story about a girl named Amber. She is half-Italian, half-Japanese. Amber has an extremely complicated and twisted life. Through this book the reader is on a journey through Amber’s unpredictable home and school life. Amber was abandoned by her father at a very young age but she did manage to cope with it by making up an imaginary ‘Dream Dad’, who guided her when she needs him. I like this book because of the courage and confidence of Amber to overcome the bullying and harasment in her life.
