Rivers Display - 600px.jpg

As part of our Geography-led topic, Year 5 and 6 children have been learning about water around the world. The children created hanging mobiles representing a famous river of their choice, from the Dart to the Danube. The class also collaborated on a large scale picture-map of the Dart (pictured above) - can you spot anything familiar? Also linked to this topic, the children recently participated in a 'Science at the Seaside' workshop. The workshop was led by students from Exeter University who visited the Academy for the day to work with Year 5 and 6.
