Book Review of the Week
Middle School - The Worst Years of my Life by James Patterson This book starts with a boy called Rafe who is starting middle school. All students have to obey the rules, however his best friend Leo persuades him to break every rule in the book, quite literally. This goes badly, as throughout the year his grades begin to slip and he needs extra tutoring. As we go through the book we find that Rafe has a love for art, although he says that Leo is the creative one but do we really know Leo? Well I will let you find out who Leo really is by yourself. I enjoyed the detail in this book and the way it twists right before the end, making all my thoughts change about the characters. However I didn’t like the way it is all stuck to one topic, breaking all the rules. I would recommend this book to boys from the ages of 11 to 14. By Annalise, Year 7
