Georgia meets Hong Kong delegates
Dartmouth Academy student Georgia Greeley recently took a trip to Devon & Cornwall Police Headquarters as a representative of the Devon and Cornwall Police Cadet scheme. On July 14th, a group of cadets from across the force attended HQ and spent the day with a group of delegates from the Hong Kong Police Force, who were visiting the UK as part of an exchange programme.
The cadets gave a presentation to the delegates and told them about the training they receive and what they get out of being a cadet.
Georgia was asked to attend as a representative from the Totnes 999 Cadets, which is the only cadet scheme in the country where young people between the ages of 13 and 18 receive input from both the police and fire service.
