Dale talks about his experiences in the film industry
Former Dartmouth student Dale Grant visited the Academy recently to talk to Year 11 students about his career in the film industry. He spoke of his experiences following GCSEs and the benefits of his University Degree in very practical terms. Dale also showed the students a selection of film shorts after which, a lively discussion ensued. Nicola Perrott, who taught Dale for his Art and Design GCSE said, "Ex students who know our school and know our staff, can be very powerful speakers, they often relate very well to the students and provide highly motivational speeches. We hope to be able to develop links with Dale to further develop the students' skills."
