First netball fixture of the season
The Year 9 netball team had their first fixture of the season at Torquay Girls Grammar School on Wednesday the 15th October. The girls all played excellently and played three games.
The team were: Katie Stevens, Freya Bradley, Yasmin Green, Sky Dicken, Alisha Clifford, Julie Vennelle & Charlotte Flavel.
Sky Dicken played wing defence and was our player of the tournament. One of the games was against Torquay Academy and Sky showed excellent defensive skills, including jumping for the ball and marking her player. Well done Sky!
All in all, the girls played an amazing three games and even managed to score in one! Well done Year 9! By Katie Stevens, Year 9
