Mrs Berry moving onto pastures new
Nicola Berry who teaches Years 3 and 4 at the Academy is leaving at the end of this term to start a new teaching post at Marldon C of E Primary School. Mrs Berry who has taught at the Academy for the past two years has been a driving force in the Academy's phonics programme, 'Read, Write Inc'.
Yvonne Bakewell who will be a familiar face to children, will be teaching Class 3/4GB alongside Miss Griffin over the next term until Easter when a permanent replacement will take up the post.Mrs Berry will be missed by children and staff at the Academy and we wish her the best of luck at Marldon.
