Academy netball teams battle it out at High 5 Netball Festival

Dartmouth Academy's High 5 Netball Festival was hosted on the 4th February 2015. It saw two teams from the Academy's Year 5/6 classes battle it out for a place in the area final, which is to be held at Kingsbridge Community Colege in a few weeks. The teams played 4 quarters, lasting 5 minutes per quarter. Sports Leaders from Year 9 and 10 were on hand to coach and officiate at the event and spectators were able to see a clear improvement in performance as a result of the coaching that took place. The game ended in a draw and certificates were presented to students for their excellent participation and performance. Good luck to the 9 students that have been selected to attend the area final.
