Children to dress as favourite characters for World Book Day

World Book Day will be held on our Skills Day on Friday 6th March. The theme is ‘My Favourite Children’s Book’. Pupils are to come dressed as their favourite book character (no superheroes – we’ve had Superheroes Day already!) This is a truly all-through day, where we are exploring how to keep alive that childhood magic of being totally lost in a captivating book! There will be challenges and activities throughout the day, including a play by Year 10!

We'd be very grateful for donations of any children’s books for our second-hand book sale on the day, please bring them in to the Academy Main Reception or Mrs Wilson at the Helpdesk.
