Netball at Condover Hall - April 2015 - 600px.jpg

From 24th-26th April, Miss Taylor took two netball teams, consisting of Year 8 and Year 9 students to Condover Hall in Shropshire to play a series of games against other netball teams from around the country in a tournament. Last year we did not win any matches so the girls were nervous on the first morning of competition. However, throughout the tournament we got stronger as a team and by the end of the tournament our team spirit and resilience shone through, resulting in us scoring more goals and even winning some matches!

When we left Condover on the Sunday afternoon and we were all very happy as it was our best ever performance as an Academy. The most improved players were Sky Dicken and Georgia Hammoudeh-Webb and the players of the tournament were Toni Curtis and Bronwyn Jones.
