Academy holds cake sale to help victims of Nepal earthquake disaster

On Friday 8th May, staff and students worked together to hold a cake sale to raise money for victims of the recent earthquake in Nepal. During the morning break and at lunchtime, students flocked to the stall to buy cakes at 50p each. Donations of cakes for the sale came from students, parents and staff, plus Subway at Townstal Garage kindly donated two large boxes of cookies. The sale raised £130 that will be donated to the Red Cross to help the people of Nepal.
