Miss Chivers takes up Head of Primary role

Following interviews before half term, as a part of the restructure of the leadership in the Academy, I am delighted to confirm that Bonnie Chivers has been appointed to the role of Head of Primary. The intention had been for this to start in January but the recent departure of Nick Bowles means she took up post on June 1st. This means there are interim arrangements in place until September, when Miss Chivers will be able to have the time to fulfil all aspects of this role. What does this mean for you and your child?

• Miss Chivers will remain the class teacher for Class 5/6C

• If you have any issues to raise these should be done via your child’s class teacher in the first instance and they will be able to help you or point you in the right direction

• I will be giving more time to the primary phase to support this change. As usual we will be writing home in about three weeks time to let you know your child’s class for September.
