Children welcome back donkeys to the Academy

Whilst the rest of the school enjoyed Sports Day, The Foundation Unit were visited by Chocolate and Paddy, two donkeys from the Donkey Sanctuary in Ivybridge. The children were very excited as the donkeys were unloaded from the van for their second visit to the Academy this year. All the children rode the donkeys with confidence - some even stood up in the saddle, letting go of the reins! They also had the opportunity to groom the donkeys and enjoyed giving them a cuddle. Thank you to the Donkey Sanctuary and their wonderful staff and donkeys for a lovely day!
