Early Years Sports Day

As well as the main event for Years 2-10, the Nursery, Reception and Year 1 classes held their own Early Years Sports Afternoon. The children and watching spectators thoroughly enjoyed the event, despite the fog which came rolling in for the afternoon! Children cheered each other on in the running races, dressing up race and the egg and spoon race. They were proud to receive their medals for taking part, and afterwards enjoyed a well-deserved ice lolly provided by the Dartmouth Academy Friends. The children participated with confidence and enthusiasm and it was wonderful to see so many parents, friends and family members supporting the children.
