Next steps for Sixth Formers

Thanks to all the Sixth Formers for such a great year including visits to Bath University, organising fundraising mufti days, the Future Teachers conference and much more. And not forgetting the Christmas party. As the students begin to go into their A2 year of study, university applications through UCAS have already begun. Sixth Formers recently spent the afternoon with many other schools at the UCAS convention in Exeter and many have already started to write their personal statements and have been looking at courses with different universities all through the UCAS website. Many universities are now holding open days so that students can make up their minds which suits them best. A Level results are released on Thursday 13th August and will be eagerly awaited for so that course options can be firmed up for their UCAS applications. GCSE results day is on Thursday the 20th August and any Year 11 students wishing to take Level 3 BTEC Sports Science or a Level 2 NVQ should speak to Mr Payne.
