Rounders Tournament at Dartmouth Academy

Recently, Year 9 and 10 Sports Leaders helped out in an inter-school rounders tournament. A number of teams from local primary schools participated in the competition. All of the teams played very well and had great sportsmanship thought the tournament. All of the Sports Leaders lead the games very well in pairs. It was the first time for some of the Sports Leaders and they did very well. The teachers were very supportive of the teams and really wanted their teams to win to get through to the county finals. It was close in the end between the teams but eventually on came out on top. The winning team was Loddiswell A. All of the teams played exceptionally well and were really competitive and all of the parents had a great time especially the children. Loddswell A went through to the county final but everyone put up a great fight. By Tom Daw, Year 9
