Forest School

Year 3 / 4 are starting to create a Forest School Environmental Area near the timber house at the end of the playground. Forest School is an inspirational process, which offers all learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees.

We have cleaned up the litter and started clearing the site of brambles. We have also planted some primroses in the area and have started making a bench. This will enable this group to create a bird friendly area and they can observe and record the changes that happen as the area develops.
