Numbers Day

On Friday 5th February Primary School pupils from classes F1 to 6P raised money for the NSPCC by dressing up with digits. All classes immersed themselves in fun, engaging Maths activities for the whole day. Miss Mear’s class made number games for Mrs Coburn Lewis’ class, they had great fun playing them together. Class F1 and F2 made colourful number hats ordering the numbers from 1 to 10. Mr Pemberton’s class had a dream job spending an imaginary £500,000 to design their ideal theme park. The day was rounded off with a cake sale, with children from Class 2/3C upwards using their Maths skills to sell cakes; finding the total cost and giving the correct change. We raised a total of £172.91 and would like to thank all parents, pupils and staff for your kind donations towards the NSPCC’s important work with vulnerable children.
